Japan's Response to Global CSR Trend

 

Secret of Japan as a country keeping up with the global CSR trend is in devotion of some Japanese companies to actively promote CSR. Working together with a variety of stakeholders at home and abroad, some Japanese companies are taking actions that can be beneficial for understanding CSR around the world. Furthermore, if nothing is done, Japanese companies will be simply left behind and overwhelmed by the global trend, without receiving the appropriate recognition deserved for their outstanding CSR practices.

The global Caux Round Table with its long history has a substantial network built on mutual trust. A variety of stakeholders ranging from business people, research institutions, NGOs and more are actively involved in the effort of the Caux Round Table to promote CSR. With the leverage of CRT global network, the Caux Round Table - Japan position itself as an organization spreading information from Japan to the world. Through sharing information of the CSR trend in Japan and through open channel of communication, CRT- Japan aspires to further CSR agenda together with people from around the world for the benefit of all.
